I am a British fiction author and sports writer, based in Sheffield, Yorkshire, with my main interests the great game of Rugby League, British football and cricket. I've also written about television and film.

I used to be a staff writer for Goal.com UK, covering news shifts relating to the English Premier League and UK international teams. I managed to fit in the odd feature too.

I now contribute Rugby League articles to new website Code 13 Rugby League. You can also find some stuff about the most famous Rugby League team in the world, the mighty Hull Kingston Rovers, at Sportingo. There's also some old football stuff there.

I'm also a fiction writer whose work has appeared in many journals in print and online, including Epic Rites Journal, The Beat, Zygote in my Coffe and The Quiet Feather. I've had two collections published too, which are available via Amazon or directly from the publishers below:

'Lescar:Volume 1' from Blackheath Books

'The Mirror' prose collection available from Erbacce Press.

A full-length collection of stories should be available at some stage over the next 12 months.

I've also managed to fit in a few poetry reviews, with the latest, my review of New York poet Rob Plath's 'There's a Fist Dunked in Blood Beating in My Chest' being used in the promotional release material by Epic Rites Press.
